Ok. this is what I’ve been planning, and then life gets in the way and I can only be bothered to do my daily blogging.
I really appreciate my readers and love reading all of the other blogs some of you write!! They’re incredible and motivational. There are these little “inspirational” or “lovely” blogger awards I know you’re aware of and I have been “given” them 11 different times, from many awesome bloggers! So instead of constantly reposting the same thing and reciprocating, I am going to do little spotlights on some wicked blogs!
First, is Journey to Awesomehood.

Meet Cassie. She may think she’s on a journey, but truth be told she’s already awesome! Hah! Put a kink in YOUR plans. Time to change the blog name!
I asked her to answer a few questions and here they are:
1: What prompted you to start blogging?
Accountability and community. I loved the atmosphere of other weight loss blogs I followed and wanted to be as cool as them and reach my goals.
2: What frustrates you most about dieting or dieting misconceptions?
People that are all or nothing. They just cut out everything and then complain all the time. Or fad diets that require you to cut out entire food groups. Poor carbohydrates.
3: What’s your approach to dieting?
Balanced diet and watching calories (I know. I’m boring). I eat anywhere from 1200 – 1400 calories a day and lots of vegetables and fruit!
4: What do you consider success?
Feeling awesome. When I eat crappy, I feel it. When I eat good, I feel good. Doesn’t matter if the scale hasn’t budged, as long as I am working my hardest and eating my best, that’s a success.
5: Paper or plastic?
Plastic (use the bags to clean out the litter boxes. Don’t judge meeee)
6: If two trains are traveling towards each other, one at 50 miles an hour and the other at 10, how long until we ask math teachers to stop theoretically murdering people?
I don’t know… I mean I am sure the math teachers are envisioning like their worst students possible on those trains…that might be their only big kick out of life is theoretically murdering people. I can’t say I blame them.
7: Random Fact about you!
My favorite color is orange.
I enjoy reading this blog because I relate to it. Cassie is a real person with real problems. Her approach to diet and exercise is incredibly realistic and common sense.
From horseback riding and climbing mountains to discussing therapy, she is very open and incredibly introspective. It really is a journey she is going on and we are taken through the ups and downs without anything held back.
Take a moment to check her out! I know you’ll love reading her posts as much as I do!
