Less blogging, more Facebooking!

I’m really having trouble making time to make any worthwhile posts. Sorry! Life and stuff! Y’know how the “holidays” go!

I’ve been posting more frequently on the Facebook page, and I think for the time being I’m going to keep it that way. I’ll save the blog for when I have the time or need to make a significant post!

So please, if you don’t follow me already, check me out on facebook! Click the link below! You’ll only get cooler by doing it.

Gym Playlist – 80′s Addition

Sorry no Eye of the Tiger here, I just can’t do it.

But I dare any one of you with a car to roll down your windows, drive slowly behind a runner and play it. You will be my hero forever.

I love 80′s music, we listen to it a lot. Growing up in the 90′s was AWFUL!

Here’s a few of my faves!

Lisa Lougheed – Run with Us – This is actually the theme song to a children’s cartoon. An awesome children’s cartoon that moulded me into the amazing that I currently am. Bonus points if you run to this song.

I actually waited until the end of the song before I found the next one ;) So good.

Stan Bush – Fight to Survive  Uh…I think a lot of these songs are themes..sorry.

Pet Shop Boys – West End Girls

Johnny Hates Jazz – Shattered Dreams

Joe Esposito – You’re the Best Around – If karate kid ever taught me anything, it would be..uh…that I can never see car wax without saying “WAX ON! WAX OFF!”.

The theme from Greatest American Hero – I always sing this to my boyfriend when it comes on. You should see the grimace.

Paul Engemann – Push it to the Limit

Gym Playlist – Some Mellow-ish Stuff

I’ll post a few more songs I like to gym-to. That should be a collector CD set. “Songs to Gym to” with some of your favourites, like: Baby’s Not Sharing the Elliptical Blues, and My Feet are Numb but I’m going to keep Peddlin’.

Alexander – Truth: This video can be kinda weird for some. I totally swoon over alex ebert, but that’s a since highschool crush.

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes: same singer as Alexander ;) I also like to listen to this while drinking wine on a sunny afternoon. True that my friends, true that.

I’m watching M*A*S*H as I post this. I love M*A*S*H.

Lykke Li – I follow Rivers –  I know I posted her in my last music post, but I really like. The chorus really gets me!

Gym Class Heroes – To Bob Ross with Love (I think there’s a F word somewhere in here, those of you with babies- EARMUFFS!)

The Isley Brothers – Fight the Power: Seriously. I love this song.

Danny Kaye and the Andrew Sisters – Civilization: Double seriously. Imagine grumpy looking me, with my piercings and tattoos, but I’m really listening to this. Now you know!

I love the Andrew Sisters. I swear. At some point my brain was swapped with some old man’s or something.

Yeah I think that’s what happened.

Workout Music!

I can’t workout without music, running without a distraction is impossible. I just keep looking at the clock ticking down, and it always goes so much slower.

So I just pop in my headphones, zone out and daydream. Makes for awesome workouts, and I work out a little harder and longer!
Here’s a few of my faves:

Nero- Must Be the Feeling – Gets me energized and helps me get through the bulk of cardio

People Under the Stairs – Trippin’ at the Disco – Just a really fun song – Doesn’t start till around 0:40 seconds

Lykke Li – Get Some – Another fun one!!

I have a ton of other stuff I love, but I’ll only share a few for now!

Got any suggestions for awesome stuff?
