Productive and Chlorinated

I’m tired!

Someone make me dinner!

First and foremost:

You like me! You really like me! 300 followers! That’s crazy talk! For me, at least.

 

5:00 am breakfast. English muffin, chicken bacon, 20 grams cheddar, egg whites. 264 calories. 19 grams of protein!

 

Walked to work, old lady hip kind of bothering me. PAH! An easy and enjoyable work day, had a good lunch, decided to go a little heavier on the carbs:

Chicken Curry Rice with tzatziki and grilled zucchini.

 

Why did I carb it up? Because I was going swiimmmbiiingg!

 

Le pool. We only swam for about 45 minutes because it started to get busy.

 

It was also getting awful “teenagery” and I can only overhear so much until someone gets “accidentally” drowned by “accident”… “accidentally..”

There’s this one creepy lifeguard there that we call Lahey if you’ve ever seen Trailer Park Boys you know what I’m talking about! He looks exactly like him, and is just straight up weird. Wearing crocs and a giant coat. I tried to get a picture because I’m some weird stalker lady.

But I couldn’t get close enough without being suspicious.

 

My girlfriend’s attempt. You can see me nonchalantly being a weirdo in the corner there. “JUST CHECKING MY PHONE IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE..”

 

I’m sorry. It was for the greater good of the blog, and my entertainment. Unfortunately it didn’t pan out :(

After the pool she drove me to home depot to buy some soil for my garden!

I transplanted our naga jolokia peppers, and put some baby strawberries in one tiny pot.

 

Then I did the dishes, cleaned the floors and removed a carpet stain, AND started laundry.

 

I am SPENT. And I’m hungrier hippoier than usual.

Dinner is going to be some lean chicken sausage with something.

But for now, I leave you with this, it’s all about the small things.

This lady is starting to get knobby knees!

    Your stealth photo skills are still far superior to mine, LOL

    And swimming makes me SO hungry – what is up with that?! Even if I only swim 15-20 minutes at a normal pace!

  2. WHOO HOO. And you deserve everyone of those followers and a MILLION MORE. And yay swimming. I love swimming. I definitely think my life needs to have more of it. But I always get fricken hungry after swimming too. It’s pretty insane.
