Cause that’s how I do!
Today, was great. I’ve been having a lot of great days, it must be the good food and exercise.
I’ve updated a progress photo, so please go look and make one eye squinty comparisons of my current fat, vs my previous fat. Click here for it! There is a definite difference and I’m VERY happy
But I made a weird face, don’t blame me, I was impatient waiting for the timer to go off.
I also keep taking progress pics right out of the shower no make up, but whatever. I don’t need to impress you!
You’re already impressed!
Woke up and had my usual egg white breakfast. I am really enjoying the routine, plus it keeps me full throughout the morning.
Lunch I had a ham sandwich, BLEH.
I kind of hate sandwiches lately, not sure why.
Went to the gym with my lady friend, 40 minutes elliptical, circuit of weights, body weight exercises on the ball, and 15 minutes on the recumbent bicycle.
Came home and had some Crackers and Laughing Cow cheese. BTW. I call it by the french name, La Vache qui Rit. The cow who laughs. That’s just what us craaazy Canadians call it, (and most of the world. *cough*)
Made a blog post, showered, lived life to the fullest.
And now I have a recipe to share
Turkey Meatballs (or Burgers. Did you know meat balls are just tiny round burgers? yep.)
- 8.7oz of turkey, or 1/2 lb. Extra lean.
- 1/8th cup bread crumbs, I used reduced fat wheat thin crackers I’d crushed.
- 1/4 cup egg white (2 egg whites)
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp chili flake (or whatever other spices you’d like!)
- 1 tsp salt/pep ish
Mix, form balls, I made 15 tbsp sized meat balls, but this would probably make 2-3 nice sized burger patties.
Fry until golden brown and cooked through.

Like this! If you're super paranoid about poultry like a weird, you want to make sure these reach 165 degrees in the centre.

THEN! Since I’ve been craving a meatball sub, yeah I dunno why, I tried to make a mock one.

4 meat balls, plus 1/4 cup of tomato sauce (like 30 cal, and didn't use all the sauce), with some spices and hot sauce, all on a bagel thin. If I had some cheese I'd add it, but I didna have. 241 cal of happiness. Have with a caesar salad!
..I think that’s all I had to tell you…

You did it! Looks great.

I like the hollowed out bun idea! Better than a dry, choking on it pita pocket!
